Recently, I heard of two acquisitions that have taken place -- ADP bought out Virtual Edge and Kenexa acquired Brass Ring --

It goes to show that:
1) The market for ATS is saturated and the only logical step is for consolidation 2) The ATS space is being positioned as a modular piece for the growing Talent Management Technology space.
It's interesting to note that Kenexa is getting into many things like Talent Management, RPO, etc.
