ATS's & ONboarding Systems

Hey folks,

I'm looking at doing a follow up article on onboarding to focus specifically on onboarding functionality within ATS and/or ERP systems.

I need some hands on experiential feedback with some of the systems on my short list that I will be writing about.

If you currently use, or have bought the functionality and plan to use (or have used at a past company) a software package that provides onboardng workflow and functionality - please let me know! I need to pick your brain!

Taleo 7.0 ATS does have a dedicated onboarding module

Hi Geoff,

At CBC/Radio-Canada we use "Taleo Enterprise Edition" ATS (formerly known as RecruitSoft)

In their most recent release (7.0), they introduced the concept of add-on modules, one of which is "Onboarding"

We have not implemented the module here but I have seen demos and the functionality is pretty solid. System has capability of cascading custom requests for IT, telephone, security set-ups etc. from system during hiring process etc.

Hey there,

We have been doing a evaluation of ATS providers recently for our ATS.

We have reviewed Hiredesk, Njoyn, Vurv, Sonicrececruit and Job Diva More for agencies, among others.

None really do onboarding very well.

it seems to be an after thought.

Most have general/customizable forms at the end of the hiring process to collect the data and then distribute it to the appropirate systems / people thru various platforms ie XML, web services, email.

one key thing is integration with other HR systems. HRXML compliance is a good thing to help in having different HR systems talking to each other.

I have not investigated any onboarding tool or HRIS systems that also provide oboarding functions.

ATS

Hi Geoff,

We are presently using Brainhunter for our ATS but are looking for an ATS that combines a CRM with the ATS if possible. I have looked at CBizOne but it does not seem that robust. I have an appointment to speak with somebody about Job Diva? Does anybody have any other suggestions.
