Getting the heart of measuring recruitments value to the business requires more then just reporting on recruitment volume and measuring time to fill statistics. The essence of the comprehensive recruiting measurement exercise involves a combination of key recruitment metrics, detailed activity data and a robust post-hire metrics program. In addition, commentary on internal and external market trends and a view into the organizations response to these trends is critically important in rounding out the "measurement" or "value add" recruitment is bringing to your organization. This can all be tied together nicely in a "4 Pillar" Recruitment report. Reporting and demonstrating value doesn't have to be scary or impenetrable there are some very tangible steps that can be taken to make it reasonable, achievable and most importantly valuable to your recruitment team and the organization. I'll breakdown the 4 Pillars and perhaps begin the demystification of the recruitment measurement challenge.
