Come on People! What are recruiters doing to attract talent?
I’ve sat in circles with all levels of recruitment and, inevitably when we start talking about sourcing, the topic of “job boards” comes up. The general consensus is that the value is dwindling, some recruiters will still say “they are a necessary evil”. But more staggering then that,… this is where the SOURCING conversation phizzles out?
We all know Talent and Sourcing are the biggest challenges, so do your C-level leaders, and yet I can see know significant changes to they way most recruiters source,… rec. comes in, rec. is posted on Job Board, vendors are sourced to help fill the role and then it’s lunch time and someone else’s’ problem. I challenge anyone using this method to present the strategy to the business leaders in your organization (HINT - If you choose to do this, please be sure to have your resume together).
