Jumping High for the Internal Client

by Gloria Rubaine

The internal client, we all have them.   They’re our co-workers, colleagues, bosses, staff, assistants and employees.   They may be brilliant experts in their own right or not, but if they are not working for each other, the results for company, clients and staff are simply not encouraging and could be downright disastrous.

One of the greatest causes of frustration and low morale is the apparent or perceived lack of co-operation and harmony between workers, management, divisions.  What is the cause of this?

Jumping High for the Internal Client

Nothing disrupts harmony between internal client groups and a Corporate Recruiting team as easily as poor communications.
As soon as Recruiting stops communicating misinformation starts to flow. I'm meeting with a group today to review "who does what" and "how we do what we do" to get this team back on track with efficient process and best practices. And who's to blame for this? We are. We must continue to manage internal clients as carefully as we do an external client. We don't receive revenue from internal groups but they are why we're here!
